My Opinion About PornAccess:
Update - Posted on February 4th, 2008 : Where does one begin to talk about Porn Access? This is a huge motherload of a site and anyone complaining about the amount offered must be completely nuts. A year ago there were 4500 movie scenes, and today I see that the site houses 1237 sites, 8598 movies and well over 2400 hours of viewing. It almost makes me break a sweat. The members' area is easy to navigate, and it looks like I can access "the" PornAccess site, all the other sites, or just the DVDs. Once in, I can type a keyword or search various categories and options. It looks like an improvement and navigation had always been one of our biggest contentions with the site. As for movies - wow. If you can think of a niche, then it's probably here and, with daily updates, you can't go wrong. File sizes can sometimes be huge but worth any download time. Still one of the best movie archives around. End of Update.

Update 07/07/2005 : The Porn Access Network took a major redesign lately, focusing on improving the usability of the site to make it easier for members to enjoy all it's benefits. When in the past you had to browse the network site by site, now you can access all the content "centrally" from one place, which makes it look more like a huge video site than a network of sites. The new system reminds me of Videosz, which was my favorite site until they started to use DRM protection. So if you liked videosz in the past, now you can enjoy the new PornAccess which grew to about 4500 movie scenes in the meantime, which would be approximately the same number as the Videosz Archive.

Other than these changes, pornaccess remained basically the same as before, the movies are still in the same format, in the same high quality and they add new scenes frequently. Like mentioned above, the site grew in content quite a lot and it continues to grow all the time. This being said, PornAccess is more than worth the money :-) End of Update.

Update : I found out how to use download managers to download movies from this site. Pick a scene, wait for the page to load and locate the "Progressive Download" button. Right click on it - copy shortcut - and you are all set. Paste that URL in your download manager and wait for the movies to download. As simple as that. I am adding 2 more points to the rating of this site, as I kept it lower because I thought download managers are not allowed. End of update.

Original Review Follows: Do you like watching porn movies? Sure you do, actually I bet we all do. So let me introduce yet another great adult video network to you. This one is called Porn Access and it falls in the AVS/AEN category. In case you are not familiar with the system - AEN (Adult Entertainment Network) stands for a network of smaller sites, that are all accessible with one password. This system has many advantages for the users : the company behind the network supplies videos, provides hosting for the sites and takes care of billing - which in the end means high quality standard, no downtimes and high download speeds, high level of security and usually extremely high value for the buyer. To be honest, these AEN networks currently represent the best value in online porn - by far.

Until now, there has been only one other similar network out there - Deluxe Pass, so I am very excited about this new one - you know it's always good to have at least two different sites to choose from. Actually, there is at least one more network like these two, but it's worse than Deluxe Pass or Porn Access so I am not going to waste time with it.

Like I mentioned, Porn Access is a pure video network, so it's all about adult movies delivered straight to your computer. Every video scene is available for download and for streaming. You can pick from various resolutions and quality versions, all in WMV format. For the best quality, pick the high quality downloadable version which will bring you screen resolution of 512*384, encoded at over 1000 kbps - this is more than enough for full screen viewing and considered the online-DVD standard :-) Quality wise - excellent work, many formats to choose from - first class service.

PornAccess Network currently contains 366 sites (some big, some small) - boosting a massive collection of 3617 movie scenes totalling over 11 000 GB of adult videos. Impressive numbers, don't you think? Of course such a big amount of porn needs a good navigation system in order to help us find what we are looking for. The navigation itself is often the weakest part of every AEN there is, but I would say the guys behind Porn Access managed it effectively. You can either browse the Network site by site, looking for the goodies, or you can use their search function that lets you search by name, movie series or studio. Then there are still the common categories (anal, amateur, big tits ... and many more) and on top of that, you can jump directly to the biggest sites or those that are the most popular. Good enough for me, and I am sure it will work for you too.

Choosing a scene you want to download, isn't complicated either - each of them comes with quite a lot of screen shots, that make the selection an easy task. Once you picked a scene, simply click on the quality version you want to download and you are all set. When I wrote this review, I thought you couldn't use download managers on this site, but later on I found out that it is possible - reffer to the top of this page and read the update please - if you haven't done so already.

Now, when we have all the basic info in place, let me compare this AEN with Deluxe Pass, as that one comes the closest to Porn Access. They both cost the same, $30 per month and I would say they contain comparable amount of content. Deluxe Pass has more sites in the system, but that doesn't play any role here, because majority of the sites is small in both cases. So whether you are browsing Porn Access or Deluxe Pass you will stick to a low number of big sites and not waste your time with the small ones. In terms of navigation, I would say Porn Access is handled better, I liked they navigation system better - for example the screenshots are handled better in case of Porn Access. But what really makes these two AEN'S different is the type of content.

Porn Access is geared more towards European type of porn, while Deluxe Pass focuses more on the US studios. Also, in case you like to watch fetish movies, Porn Access is more into that. I would say Deluxe Pass is more about "mainstream" US porn while Porn Access is better for those who like European babes, and look for more specialized movies including fetish themes. Of course you will find a lot of movies that are present in both Networks, but the pattern I mentioned is visible. Now don't get me wrong, Porn Access contains the Standard US porn movies just as well as Deluxe Pass, but the EU porn is stronger supported within Porn Access. Judging by my personal preferences, I liked Porn Access better again, simply because it contained more movies that have been unknown to me - but that's just me. So it's up to you to decide which one of them to join as joining both doesn't make much sense probably.

Final Verdict:
Porn Access is an excellent adult video network, offering a ton of downloadable movies. As usually with this type of sites, all the content is in high quality and updates occur on regular basis. Highly recommended for any adult video fan, you will get extremely high value for your hard earned dollars :-)

Furthermore, they might have alot of sites, but in reality, alot of them sites only have a limited number of scenes. Some of them are less than 15 scenes a site, and most of those scenes have been seen on many other of their so-called different site. Jst cause you rename something and place the same movie in a different niche, doesn't make it different. If the site wasn't so cheap in price, i am sure more would see where i am coming from. It's worth what i pay(under10 bucks a month, but what others may pay?? they will realize most of their content is the same recycled content from one site to the next on the pornaccess net.

Most of the "individual" sites have the same content, which is often old and of average quality. I only joined because other review sites also gave it a high rating, but IMO, I would give it 50/100, only because it was cheap.

The duplication is not playing any role anymore, as the site now uses a central navigation system, so you don't really need to browse site by site. I mentioned it in the update, so you probably missed it. As far as the movies themselves go - sure the movies are dull sometimes, following the same plot - which doesnt come as surprise as these are regullar DVD movies encoded for online distribution. However, out of 4500 scenes, which equals to more than 1000 DVDs, you simply have to pick a lot that you'd like. And lastly, Climax Corner (now VideoBox) is cheaper, has better navigation, but PornAccess contains at least twice as much titles as they do. So, you have some points, but I dont think they're valid.

First off (and not mentioned in your review) is there is a lot of duplication, i.e. the same movies appear on different sites, so the claim about the number of movies is somewhat misleading. Secondly, many of the movies are pretty much box standard, you know the type 3 - 4 minutes of stilted dialogue which is then followed by that dreaded 'porn music', which is surely on a par with elevator music for dullness. Occasionally when you do come across a more interesting looking movie it appears to be permanently 'temporarily unavailable'. If you like the kind of movies on here then go for Climax Corner instead, it’s far cheaper, with a better interface and easy to use.
